Fall 2013 Youth Academy and League

Registration for Fall 2013 Youth Academy and League is now OPEN!

Practices and Training -

You may choose from one of the following options to practice with the BNSC staff. While we try and accomodate every family’s schedule, please be aware that final practise days/locations will be based on the number of registrations for each gender and age group.

Mondays and Wednesdays at Settlers Park at 6:00
Tuesdays and Thursdays at Settlers Park at 6:00

All practices will be 1 Hour and 15 minutes for our U7, U8, U9 and U10 Teams

All practices will be 1 Hour for our U5 and U6 Teams

League Games -

League games take place at Simplot Sports Complex in Boise. We divide Field 1 at Simplot Sports complex into 6 smaller fields: A,B,C,D,E, and F. CLICK HERE FOR DIRECTIONS TO SIMPLOT AND A MAP OF THE COMPLEX TO FIND FIELD 1.

U5 (birthdates 8/1/08 to 7/31/09) teams are gender specific and play 3v3 on a
U6 (birthdates 8/1/07 to 7/31/08) teams are gender specific and play 3v3 on small 4’x6’ goals without goalkeepers
U7 (birthdates 8/1/06 to 7/31/07) teams are gender specific and play 3v3 on small 4’x6’ goals without goalkeepers
U8 (birthdates 8/1/05 to 7/31/06) teams are gender specific and play 5v5 on 6’x’10’ goals with goalkeepers (4 plus GK)

U9 (birthdates 8/1/04 to 7/31/05) teams are gender specific, Game Locations TBD
U10 (birthdates 8/1/03 to 7/31/04) teams are gender specific,

Team parents will assist BNSC staff coaches by helping with substitutions during games and snacks after each game. Each game field will have at least 1 BNSC staff coach who will:

Keep game time
Referee the game
Coach players during play
Coach players at half-time
Give an end of game cheer and post-game talk

Uniforms -

As a Nike Premier Club, all BNSC Teams wear Nike uniforms. The Select and Youth Academy uniform kit includes the following:

1 Blue Nike Tiempo Jersey
1 White Nike Tiempo Jersey
1 pair of Blue Nike Tiempo Shorts
1 pair of Nike Soccer Socks

The BNSC Youth uniform is available at the BNSC office for $50. The cost of the uniform is not included in registration fees. However, you may use your uniform for as long as it fits or is in good shape. Most players usually get 1-2 years of use. Uniform kits are available at our office during normal business hours on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday from 10:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m. The club office is located at 6128 W Fairview Ave, Suite 2C Boise, Idaho 83704. All BNSC Youth Academy players will be required to wear these uniforms starting January 1, 2013. We will no longer allow any Youth Academy player to wear a jersey (including reversible jerseys) from previous years that do not match the rest of their team.

Season Schedule -

The Fall 2013 season will begin in August. Games will begin after the Saturday after 2 weeks of practice. Final dates are yet to be determined.
