Player Speaks With Team Coach (U15-18)
The player should first bring their concern to the coach. We recognize that this can be difficult for many players, but once kids reach HS age, we feel that this is part of the maturation process as they become adults and prepare for college and beyond. We do recommend that U14 and below kids get used to doing this if the issue is something he/she is capable of discussing with the coach.
Parent Speaks With Team Coach at an Appropriate Time
We recommend waiting 24 hours after a game before bringing any concerns to the attention of the coach. This “cooling off” period is something that will greatly benefit both coaches and parents. We recommend that this discussion occur either after training or on the phone at an acceptable hour.
Contact the Age Group Technical Director
If the prior steps have not provided an acceptable resolution, contact the age group TD. He/she will work together with all parties to resolve the situation.
Put Your Request in Writing for the Director of Coaching
If the Technical Director cannot provide an acceptable resolution, put your request in writing and email director@boisenationals.com. Also copy the Director of Operations (admin@boisenationals.com) on your request. At this point, the DOC may bring the issue to the attention of the coaches committee. You will receive a response in writing within three weeks from either the DOC or the DOO.
Appeal to the Board of Directors
Once all previous steps have been taken, all members have the right to put their complaint in writing (cbillings@boisenationals.com) for the BOD to review. The BOD will respond within 30 days.
Note: ALL administrative related issues (schedule, travel, fees, etc) should run through the team manager, prior to any contact with the BOD. Coaches are not a part of the administrative line of appeal.
