The 2012 US Youth Soccer Olympic Development Program (US Youth Soccer ODP) Boys 1996 Winter Interregional is scheduled for Jan. 27-29 in Bradenton, Fla. The nation’s top Under-16 Boys will compete in front of college coaches and U.S. National Team scouts at the world’s largest and most advanced mulit-sport and education complex.
Carter Perry & Tyson Fox made the final roster of 18 for Region IV and will play 3 games at the IMG Academy. Perry & Fox, who both play for the U-16 Boys Celtic Team will open up the competition against Region III, followed by matches against Region I and Region II. Perry & Fox will be the 4th & 5th BNSC players to compete with Region IV in the last 6 months. Tyler Blackmer (U-17 Boys Premier) & Garrett Hardesty (U-16 Boys Celtic) both participated in the December Interregional that was held in conjunction with the Division I College Cup. Blackmer's '94 Region IV squad posted a record of 1-0-2 while Hardesty contributed to the '95 Region IV team that went 0-1-2. Both Blackmer & Hardesty saw significant time on the field and came back from the event with a new found appreciation of what the other Region's have to offer in terms of talent. Back in November ’11 Blake Bodily traveled with his ’98 Region Team to Chula Vista, CA where they competed against two other Regions as well as the Under 14 U.S. National Team.
