Former BNSC standout, Logan Emory has officially penned a one year professional contract with the Puerto Rico Islanders of the USSF D2 Pro League, the feeder league for Major League Soccer. One of the top franchises feeding into MLS, Logan couldn’t be more excited about his first professional season. A member of one of BNSC’s best ever teams, Logan’s high point of club ball came in 2005 when his BNSC team lost in overtime of the Far West Regional Semifinals. Logan was later named a Top 100 Freshman and the Gatorade Idaho Player of the Year. At the University of Portland, Logan was a four year starter defensively, garnering All West Coast Conference Freshman Team honors in 2006 before being named All WCC Honorable Mention in 2008. In 2009, the Pilots advanced to the third round of the NCAA Tournament before losing 1-0 to the #2 ranked University of Virginia.
