In August,  the Boise Nationals U14 Premier  team won 5 straight games to capture the champions title at the Sparta Cup in Salt Lake City, UT. Not only was it exciting that the team performed well in 5 matches in less than 48 hours but it was exciting to see this past season’s State Champions come together as a team.  The team adopted a motto of “together"  during the tournament, which proved to be true in the semi- final and final game.   The Nationals came from behind against the current State Champions in UT in the semi final game in dramatic fashion with 2 straight goals in the final minutes to earn their berth to the championship where their “togetherness” again prevailed over La Roca for a 2-0 victory.   9 different players on the Nationals scored in this tournament as well as 8 different players also assisting these goals.  The U14 Boise Nationals got the job done and won the title,“together”.
