Goalkeeper Coach Jared Gentle

 

Jared played for the Boise Capitals from U8 to U18. In high school he played for Centennial High Varsity team 2002 and 2003. 2002 he received SIC Div III 2nd Team All Conference. His senior year he was 1st Team All Conference. In high school he also played varsity basketball and baseball. Jared went on to play soccer for Walla Walla Community College. He received NWACC All Region Goalkeeper, NWACC All Conference Goalkeeper, and he played in the NWACC All-Star game for WWCC. Jared also played basketball for Walla Walla. After completion of his Associates degree in Walla Wall he transfered to The College of Idaho. He played for Brian Smith 2006 and 2007. In 2006 Jared received Cascade Defensive Player of the week 4 times. He also recieved NAIA All Regional Defensive player. At the conclusion of his Junior year Jared was selected as as NAIA All American player. In 2007 Jared recieved Cascade Defensive Player of the Week. He graduated in May of 2008 with his Bachlors of Arts in History. Jared was the Goalkeeper coach at Boise Capitals before moving over to the Nationals. He also helped coach for The College of Idaho the past two years. He is currently employed at Lithia Ford of Boise and now with the Boise Nationals Soccer Club.
